Located in the Fari Islands, in the Maldives’ North Malé Atoll, this is the inaugural flagship resort from Patina Hotels & Resorts, a new elevated lifestyle brand by Capella Hotel Group.
The resort is a radical new example of biophilic design from renowned Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan, founder of international award-winning Studio MK27. Patina Maldives offers 90 contemporary one- to three-bedroom Beach and Water Pool Villas, alongside 20 Fari Studios, all of which embody a harmony of sanctuary and stimulation.
Guests can enjoy the archipelago’s communal heart, where the Fari Marina Village and Fari Beach Club serve as the backdrop to a vibrant social scene, with enticing dining including a menu curated by 2 Michelin star chef Nick Bril at Fari Beach Club.
Guests at Patina can bask in the light filled Skyspace Amarta, a permanent installation by revered Californian artist James Turrell. The resort will also be home to a curated collection of works from other renowned international artists.
Other facilities include a unique watsu pool for passive aquatic therapy, high and low impact workout classes, the services of highly trained consultants such as a posture expert and a sleep therapist, bio hacking, and the usage of curative and preventative remedies to achieve a calm mind and to restore balance.
Each of the private villa sanctuaries is honed from nature’s materials and exudes warm, rustic simplicity. The two-storey, three-bedroom Beach House offers a rooftop terrace and a large private 21-metre pool set within the lush green of an enormous tropical garden – the perfect setting to gather with family and friends.
