As you approach the property via the private driveway lined with 100-year-old giant Sequoia trees you will know you are headed somewhere special. On entering the homestead you will feel at home among the many living spaces and will find it difficult to choose which room to relax in. The main living area of the home features a very spacious kitchen, open-plan dining area and lounge with a grand piano ideal for family gatherings and entertaining with friends. You will be warm and cosy through the winter months with numerous heating options including three indoor fireplaces. There is also a library at the front of the property which offers views across the manicured lawn and rose gardens towards Lake Hayes.
The property features five bedrooms, with the master located in the original wing of the historic building, with its private en-suite bathroom featuring a statement copper bathtub. Two further bedrooms with en-suites are located to the west of the property. One bedroom offers twin beds themed to entertain children with a secret door connecting back to the main house. You will find the two remaining loft-style bedrooms and shared bathroom in the second wing of the house with high pitched ceilings which provide a private space for further guests.
The property has many exterior features offering a fantastic range of entertaining areas, including a life-sized chess set, petanque court, outdoor swimming pool area with a floating fireplace and a gym overlooking the lake.
